HWA
Positive+ Health and Wellbeing Assessment
The HWA is a comprehensive ‘diagnostic tool’ designed by our team of experienced specialists from occupational health psychology, clinical psychology, and medicine. The HWA has been developed by integrating individual expertise, knowledge and experience together with the best available external evidence from systematic occupational research.
Aims of the HWA
The HWA has been specifically designed to identify the critical variables, including relevant cognitive, behavioural, and occupational factors that are known to impact on health, well-being and the performance of individuals, teams, and the wider organisation.
Diagnostic
By analysing the various ‘health and well-being domains’, and measuring the interaction between them, the HWA can provide valuable ‘diagnostic’ information that helps you build an accurate picture of the physical and mental well-being of your workforce. The HWA you to identify ‘hot spots’ within your organisation that directly inform where best to target a range of effective evidence-based interventions.
Benchmarking
The HWA allows you to internally benchmark - identifying internal variation in levels of physical and psychological well-being, engagement and performance across your organisation and where to target proven interventions.
It also allows external benchmarking by comparing the relevant key variables and ‘health domains’ with other organisations and aids implemention of ‘best practice’.
Reports
A detailed report written by our specialist team of doctors and occupational health psychologists outlines the results of the HWA and the relevant implications for your company.
Evaluation & audit
Our audit cycle is a quality improvement process that seeks to improve health, well-being, engagement and performance through systematic review of outcomes against explicit criteria.
